Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s only two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Tani\u00e8re 3, took 9th place, after ranking 5th in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Montr\u00e9al and Qu\u00e9bec stand out <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three other establishments also made the highly anticipated list: chef Danny Smiles\u2019 restaurant Le Violon (Montr\u00e9al) climbed from 29th to 15th place; Beba (Montr\u00e9al) made a remarkable leap from 50th to 27th; and Sabayon (Montr\u00e9al) entered the ranking at 34th. Unfortunately, Montr\u00e9al Plaza and Alma, which ranked 22nd and 43rd last year, do not appear on this year\u2019s list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With five restaurants out of the 14 Canadian establishments featured in this 2026 edition, Qu\u00e9bec once again stands out on both the national and international stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Smyth in Chicago named Best Restaurant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The title of Best Restaurant in North America went to Smyth (Chicago).
