Restaurateurs who advocate on your behalf
The members of the Board of Directors of the Association Restauration Québec (ARQ) are elected for a one-year term, which may be renewed. The Board meets regularly to determine the best directions that will enable the organization to fulfill its mission and respond to the needs expressed by its members.
Any ARQ member restaurateur in good standing may submit their candidacy to be appointed as a Director. A nomination form is mailed to ARQ members at least 90 days prior to the Annual General Meeting. It is also included in the July issue of ARQ Info magazine and is available at all times here. All applications must be received by the ARQ within the prescribed deadlines and must be supported by two other ARQ member restaurateurs. The Nominations Committee then proceeds with the evaluation of the applications, followed by their selection.
